The Role:

We are looking for a Social Media Manager to join our small but growing team. In this role, the Social Media Manager will work closely with the founding team to help develop our social media strategy and bring our social vision to life. They will concept, curate, and create meaningful and imaginative social media content that helps inspire, educate, and delight our community. They will be responsible for managing our social content calendar, ideating and executing campaigns and collaborations, and day-to-day social media management.

Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and compelling storyteller with excellent copywriting skills and a strong eye for visual design. They should be a highly creative, out-of-the-box thinker and problem solver who is well-versed in Instagram and can quickly adapt to the fast-evolving social media climate. They should be excited about creating meaningful and impactful content that connects with our community.


  • Work directly with founding team to help develop and execute overall social media strategy, vision, and tone of voice
  • Plan, curate, and manage social media content calendar
  • Create and oversee development of dynamic and engaging content, including copywriting, feed curation, and content production
  • Manage day-to-day social media execution
  • Help develop, plan, and execute timely and impactful brand campaigns, partnerships/collaborations, and initiatives for social platforms that align with our mission and causes and support our business goals
  • Help recruit and collaborate with content creators for social content
  • Track KPI’s and analytics to refine social media strategy and meet our social media goals
  • Actively research and stay up to date on current events, news, latest trends, and the cultural landscape
  • Closely monitor feedback and sentiment to inform social content and create a more meaningful social experience


  • 2-3+ years of professional social media experience (preferably in direct-to-consumers brands in wellness, beauty, lifestyle, or similar fields)
  • Exceptional portfolio that demonstrates ability to create engaging social content and grow an organic audience
  • Dynamic and compelling storyteller with excellent copywriting skills
  • Strong creative direction and eye for visual design
  • Deep expertise in managing and creating content strategy for Instagram with a strong understanding of industry best practices and nuances of the platform
  • Excellent communication skills; a team player who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, and ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines and work quickly and efficiently
  • Highly creative, resourceful, and out-of-the-box problem solver with a strong attention to detail
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude, and a growth mindset
  • Relationships with content creators and influencers to collaborate with a plus
  • Passion for wellness, culture, and community
