The Role:

We are looking for a Community + Social Media Associate to join our small but growing team. In this role, the Community + Social Media Associate will work closely with the founding team and Social Media Manager to help cultivate, engage, and grow a passionate and loyal community. They will be advocating for our brand on social media and be one of the key liaisons between our brand and our social community. They will be focused on building meaningful relationships with value-aligned content creators, ambassadors, brands, and customers. They will help ideate, coordinate, and execute engaging social content, community series, and collaborations.

Our ideal candidate is proactive, enthusiastic, resourceful, and highly creative. They should be well-versed in Instagram with experience in content creation and design, influencer marketing, and building a social community. They should be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills who can think quickly on their feet. They should be excited about building an inclusive community around wellness.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with founding team and Social Media Manager to help execute our social media strategy and actively engage, cultivate, and grow our community
  • Interact with our community on our social media platforms on a day-to-day basis in a timely, personal, positive, and meaningful way (comments, DM’s, etc.)
  • Help ideate, coordinate, and execute content series, takeovers, giveaways, and collaborations with like-minded creators, partners, and brands
  • Help manage, source, and create brand-aligned content for Instagram stories
  • Build relationships with value-aligned content creators and potential ambassadors
  • Brainstorm new and creative ways to connect with our community
  • Actively research and stay up to date on current events, news, and latest trends

Qualifications:

  • 1-2+ years of relevant experience in social media, content creation, influencer marketing, or community management
  • Experience growing an engaged community on social media (for yourself or for brands)
  • Knowledge of influencer marketing and influencer community
  • Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong eye for design and ability to create engaging visual content that aligns to our brand aesthetics
  • Highly creative, resourceful, and adaptable problem solver with ability to think quickly on your feet
  • A team player who can work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Possess a positive, can-do attitude, and a growth mindset
  • Passion for wellness, culture, and community
